AIC INVESTIGATOR GRANT – CALL FOR PROPOSALS 2024

The Associazione Italiana Celiachia is releasing on June 27th 2024, at 12:00 o’clock Italian time (ore 12:00), the ‘AIC Investigator Grant – Call for Proposals 2024’ which is aimed at awarding excellent Research Projects on celiac disease, dermatitis herpetiformis and non-celiac wheat sensitivity, proposed by highly qualified senior researchers (Principal Investigator) with proved and recognized international expertise in the field of celiac disease and/or dermatitis herpetiformis.

Project Proposals selected for funding will be carried out by the Principal Investigator in a public or a private non-profit Italian research institute/organisation (Hosting Institute) where the Principal Investigator is already affiliated at the time of the present Call. Research Projects with 1-year, 2-years and 3-years durations can be submitted, including Multicentre Studies.

The ‘AIC Investigator Grant – Call for Proposals 2024’ is a co-funding programme: the Hosting Institute and the Principal Investigator submitting the Project Proposal are asked to have non-profit funds to cover part of the predicted costs involved in the accomplishment of the Research Project.

The overall funding is € 650,000.

The Project Proposal Applications must be submitted exclusively through the ‘Associazione Italiana Celiachia Calls and Proposals’ Web Portal (https://aiccalls.celiachia.it), after registration or login of the Principal Investigator who completes the requested fields and data, and uploads of the mandatory and optional PDF files.

The DEADLINE for submitting the Investigator Proposal Applications is September 5th 2024 (5 settembre 2024), at 12:00 o’clock Italian time (ore 12:00).
